Hello

Photography has part of my life from a young age, setting up elaborate staged shots on film of my toy soldiers using my Dad's Praktika SLR camera and being inspired by my grandfather's love of macro flower photography. I loved documenting family holidays and my friends as we grew up.

Later when I realised that this hobby could become a job, I studied photography at London Metropolitan University going back to college after getting a degree in History and a stint working in Local Government and the Charity Sector.

All these interests combined serendipitously with some great experiences working for the City of London and later Imperial War Museums. At these organisations I met some amazing people and was lucky enough to have access to photograph and film some unique and historically significant objects and art works.

I love working for clients in the Third Sector and the Culture and Heritage worlds.

​

My visual style is based on classic documentary photography, creatively capturing people in their element, whether they are at work, creating art or need an informal portrait.

​

My personality has been described as patient, kind and attentive to detail. I want to create final products that meet the client's brief and hopefully make some new friends and, if appropriate, enjoy ourselves during the process.
